Maria Jose Cristerna, also know as the Vampire lady, is a woman in her mid thirties who resides in Mexico. She has tattoos on 98% of her body, titanium implants as horns, four fangs and so many more unimaginable things. She’s trying to replicate the mythological Jewish folklore character Lilith who was said to be Adam’s first wife not Eve. God had made Lilith equal to Adam, but Lilith left Eden when Adam refused to let her go on top during sex. Cristerna identifies this refusal with herself being that she was physically abused by her husband for over 10 years. Cristerna is a fully licensed lawyer although she is now a tattoo artist, an artist, and a fashion designer. She had four children with her abusive husband and managed to find a new man that she has now been with for almost a decade. Maria Jose Cristerna’s appearance is shocking but she views it as an extension of her art and proof of her survival story.
