Hahaha, this is quite accurate.  In Finland, it’s a custom to go into a sauna and sort of beat yourself with tied up branches.  The leaves leave a sort of stinging effect, but it’s a good feeling.  Then, you jump into some snow/ice water, then go back in the sauna.  It’s wonderful and I missed it :D
